I love good beer. And who doesn’t really? When I was growing up in Finland, the choice of beers was limited to a few of the big brands, like Koff, Olvi or Karhu. It’s kind of like the only beers available would be Budweiser, Heineken and Fosters. You’d still go out with friends and have a pint or two, but certainly not because of the beer.
Things have certainly changed since those days! These days it is not uncommon to go out to a specific bar just because they serve a beer you like, or one that you heard of and would like to try. The beauty of craft beers is that they are made in small batches and you only get them in selected outlets, so you never really get tired of any of them.
In celebration of the era of craft beers, Transfluent is organizing a Craft Beer Festival as part of Transfluent Day after party. The event takes place on September 28 at Teatteri Forum in Helsinki. Earlier in the day we are hosting Transfluent Business Forum, and once the business talks wrap up it is time for some epic celebratory action!
At our party, local breweries Ruosnimen Panimo, Stadin Panimo and Ohrana Brewing are showcasing their best craft beers, so come thirsty! These are some of the best breweries in Finland, so you get to taste what a good beer is all about while talking to the people behind these masterpieces!
Aside from the beer festival, we’ll have two great DJs (Windows95man and DJ-Música), Singa Karaoke contest, Prosecco Reception and plenty of quality food and drinks. One of the highlights of the evening will be a special gig by one of the most famous performers in Finland – but we’ll keep their identity a secret all the way up to the moment they appear on stage!
The concept of the Transfluent Day is that it is all about networking and having a good time. There are no marketing talks and no boring presentations. The event is free of charge, but advance registration is required, right here:
